A semi-retired high school English teacher and university instructor, Wendy joins Kelleher Realty of Fountain Hills, AZ, with many skills her clients find especially helpful, including the kind of caring relationship-building for which Kelleher Realtors have become known. Wendy has found her niche in a variety of areas around the Greater Phoenix area, including properties in Fountain Hills, Scottsdale, Gilbert, Chandler, and Queen Creek.
In Fountain Hills, Wendy can help you find golf course properties, horse properties, and luxury homes and condos including CopperWynd and FireRock. In Scottsdale, Wendy knows well luxury high-rise properties including Optima, Waterfront, Safari, The Landmark, Valley Ho and others in and around both Kierland and Scottsdale Fashion Square.
Most recently, down in Gilbert and Queen Creek, Wendy has been working with Cortina, Power Ranch and Cooley Station properties. She's very familiar with short sales and VA sales. She is branching out into VA loans and properties suitable for military families. Having lived and worked in a military town (Minot, North Dakota Air Force Base), she knows well the unique needs of the active duty and retired military family.
In 2003, Wendy and Paul moved to the Sonoran Desert surrounding the greater Phoenix valley, where Wendy finished her doctoral program in English Education at Arizona State University http://www.asu.edu/ After spending a brief time in the halls of academia, Wendy decided to retire from teaching and make good a promise she had made to Paul many years earlier to join him in their Fountain Hills/Scottsdale real estate business.
Married in 1998, Wendy and Paul enjoy hiking, bicycling and playing golf. They also love to spend time with friends and visit their combined families, spread across several states. Paul's two sons, Chris and Derek, live in North Dakota http://www.ndtourism.com/ and Massachusetts http://www.massvacation.com respectively, while Wendy's eldest daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter live in Oklahoma http://www.ok.gov/ Wendy is fortunate in having two of her children (and their spouses) living in the state: Reba in Flagstaff, and Gabriel at the University of Arizona in Tucson http://www.arizona.edu/. Gabe recently married an Iranian videographer, whom he met while working at the university. Beautiful Nazanine brings to our family a fascinating view of life in the Middle East and the political strife there.
